TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHRYSLER 300 AWD. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, ALL OF THE SIGNALS ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.

ON THANKSGIVING 2012 , I WAS COMING BACK FROM OUT OF TOWN AND DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY WHEN I LOOKED IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR AND NOTICED A BIT OF SMOKE. I THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE THE NIGHT WAS COLD IT APPEARED AS IF SMOKE WAS COMING FROM THE BACK OF THE CAR. HOWEVER, AFTER NOTICING THAT THE SMOKE GOT A BIG BIGGER, I PULLED OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I OPENED THE HOOD AND THERE WAS FIRE COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOOD WHERE THE ENGINE WAS. I ORDERED MY FAMILY INCLUDING MY 2 YEAR OLD BACK OUT OF THE CAR AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD EXPLODE. I OWN CHRYSLER 300 2010 KEEP IT WELL MAINTAINED. PAST FEW WEEKS IT HAS BEEN RUNNING POORLY HESITANT TO START. THOUGH IT MAY NEED NEW BATTERY. 61000 MILES. FRI 11/4/2016 DRIVING ON INTERSTATE I-93 ENGINE SEIZED!!!!!! NO WARNING. NO OIL LIGHT. NO ENGINE LIGHTS WENT ON NOTHING. L ALMOST GOT KILLED ON HIGHWAY!! TOWED IT TO SERVICE STATION THAT WAS 200 MILES AWAY FROM HOME. HAVE EXTENDED WARRANTY. CALLED CHRYSLER AND THEY SAID I HAVE TO TOW IT TO DEALERSHIP TO DETERMINE IF IT IS COVERED.... HERE WE GO.
