BOTH FRONT BRAKE DISCS FAILED OVER THE PERIOD OF TWO YEARS. THE DISKS SEPARATED FROM THE HUB MOUNT CAUSING THE FRONT BRAKE ON ONE SIDE TO BECOME INNOPERABLE. LARGE STEERING INPUTS WERE REQUIRED TO KEEP THE VEHICLE FROM LEAVING THE ROAD. ON INSPECTION IT WAS CLEAR THAT THE ROTORS HAD SAPARETED DUE TO RUST THROUGH. BOTH SEPARATIONS WERE LOW SPEED INCIDENTS BUT IN BOTH CASES THE BRAKES WERE INNEFECTIVE AND THE STEERING LOAD WAS SUBSTANTIAL.*AK

PE00046, WITH ABOUT LESS THAN 15,000 MILES, THE GOODYEAR WRANGLER AT TIRE SIZE P24575R16 LOAD E. BOUGHT 4 TIRES, 3 OUT OF 4 TIRES TREAD SEPARATED WHICH MAY HAVE CAUSED A CRASH. FIRST, WENT TO A GOODYEAR DEALER ,AND WILL ONLY PRORATE THE TIRE ,WHICH HE DID ON 2 TIRES. FINALLY, CONTACTED GOODYEAR DIRECTLY, AND THEY HAD THE OTHER TWO TIRES REPLACED WITH NO CHARGE.*AK *SLC

TRUCKS CAN CONTAIN INCORRECT INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PROPERLY ADJUST REAR SEAT LAP-SHOULDER BELTS AS REQUIRED BY FMVSS 209.
Consequence: INCORRECTLY ADJUSTED SEAT BELT WOULD NOT PROPERLYRESTRAIN OCCUPANT IN AN ACCIDENT OF SUDDEN STOP; TRUCKS WOULD NOT COMPLY WITHFMVSS 209.
Remedy: PROVIDE OWNER'S MANUAL INSERT CONTAINING THE CORRECT REAR LAP-SHOULDER BELT INSTRUCTIONS.
