The "Safety Restraint system" service warning kept coming on the dash. The chevrolet place said they would have to change the "connectors" on the sensor under the passenger seat. So I had to pay them $100 to fix this. My passenger could have been in danger of NOT having an airbag deploy if needed if I was to get in a wreck! Yes the problem was confirmed by Westgate chevrolet in Burgaw, NC.

Owner report 11492192 · 2022-11-03 (November 3, 2022)
At random times the car will get the check engine light (Code P2138 when scanned) & show a message on the dash saying “engine power reduced”. This happened to me twice while driving on the highway & 4 other times while driving on city streets. When this happens , I have to pull over to the side of the rode as fast as I can to avoid getting hit by other vehicles since the car looses power. The car has been to the Chevrolet dealership a total 4 times having the pedal replaced but the issue has not been fixed.

When shifting the vehicle into park and attempting to turn off car, vehicle will give a message on dash “shift to park” when the vehicle is already in park. This issue can cause possible rolling of vehicle for not properly being in park. Power draining due to instruments not shutting down properly. Possible theft of vehicle due to vehicle not locking while exiting. You have to remove from park and shift back into park a few times so the computer can actually recognize that vehicle is in park. A lot of 2017+ Camaros are having this issue. Needs …
