TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHEVROLET C8500 DIESEL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT EXHAUST FUMES WERE EMITTED INTO THE VEHICLE AS A RESULT OF THE EXHAUST PIPE BEING LOCATED BY THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR. THE CONTACT BELIEVED THAT IT WAS A VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM SINCE SMELLING THE FUMES COULD CAUSE HEALTH PROBLEMS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO ALTER THE DESIGN OF THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE.
