HAVE HAD THE FOLLOWIN. ENGINE KNOCK GM CLAIMS CAN NOT BE FIXED, HAVE NOW MANY TIMES HARD START OR COMPLETE SHUT DOWN OF ENGINE WHEN DRIVING, HED TO STEER TO PULL OVER. TRUCK NEED TO COOL DOWN THEN RESTARTED. ALSO SINCE UPGRADED DRIVE SHAFT AND UPLADED NEW INFO TO COMPUTER FOR MORE TOURQUE HAVE STEPPED ON GAS BUT AFEW SECOD DELAY B/R ENGAGED. TOOK FOR SERVICE GM CLAIMS CAN'T FIND PROBLEM. *AK

FRONT PASSENGER WHEEL BEARING ASSEMBLY FAILED AT 33,000 WITH AN OUT OF POCKET COST TO ME OF $300. THIS IS ON A 2001 CHEVROLET SILVERADO EXTENDED CAB. THERE WERE NO CONSEQUENCES OF THE FAILURE AS I HAD IT REPLACED. HOWEVER THE CONSEQUENCES COULD BE LIFE THREATENING SHOULD REPAIRS NOT BE PERFORMED IN TIME. WHILE AT THE CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP THE SERVICE MANAGER EXPLAINED TO ME THEY REPLACE THIS ITEM TO THE TUNE OF 2 OR 3 VEHICLES EVERY OTHER DAY! I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE WOULD REPORT THIS ISSUE TO YOU BUT IF THE SERVICE MANAGER WAS TRUTHFUL THE…
