Sudden catastrophic fuel system failure due to contamination fuel and fuel filter bypass, yes it is available to inspect. Truck shut off during operations and did not restart, the vehicle is at the dealership to replace High pressure fuel pump, lines, fuel rail and injectors. After the the truck died there was a message in the message center "water in fuel, service". The truck never sputtered, no loss of power or engine light. No codes were thrown either.

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 6500 Commercial Vehicle. The contact stated that the recall repair of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V266000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) was previously performed on the vehicle. The contact stated while the driver was driving 55-60 MPH uphill, he noticed smoke coming from underneath the driver's side of the hood. 19V835000 · Wheels:Lugs/Nuts/Bolts/Studs
Reported: 2019-11-20 (November 20, 2019)
Isuzu Technical Center of America, Inc. (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2017-2020 NPR-HD, 2019-2020 NPR-XD, NQR, NRR, Chevrolet 4500HD, Chevrolet 5500HD and Chevrolet 5500XD, and 2020 Chevrolet 4500XD vehicles. The lug nuts on the rear outer wheels may not have been properly tightened when installed onto the rear axles.
Consequence: If the lug nuts were not properly tightened, they can loosen, causing the to wheel separate from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Isuzu will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the rear outer wheel lug nuts and tightening or replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began December 20, 2019. Owners may contact Isuzu customer service at 1-866-441-9638 or Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. Isuzu's number for this recall is V1906.

Reported: 2021-03-19 (March 19, 2021)
Isuzu Technical Center of America, Inc. (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Isuzu NPR, Reach, 2016-2020 Isuzu NPR XD, NPR HD, NQR, 2016-2021 Isuzu NRR, 2017-2020 Chevrolet 4500XD, 4500HD, 5500HD, and 2020 Chevrolet 5500XD vehicles. The U-bolt nuts for the rear axle may not have been properly tightened and may loosen, causing the axle to misalign.
Consequence: The misalignment may cause the propeller shaft to separate, causing a loss of power to the rear wheels and a stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Isuzu will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, if needed, replace and tighten the rear axle U-bolt nuts, free of charge. The recall began on April 23, 2021. Owners may contact Isuzu customer service at 1-866-441-9638. Isuzu's number for this recall is V2103.

Reported: 2023-04-13 (April 13, 2023)
General Motors. LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2019-2023 Chevrolet 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD Medium-Duty trucks. The brake pressure sensor assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch and cause an electrical short-circuit.
Consequence: An electrical short in the brake pressure switch can overheat the circuit and increase the risk of a fire while driving or parked.
Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will replace the master cylinder pressure sensor and inspect the wire harness, replacing it, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 11, 2023. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N222375270.
