TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 CHANGZHOU NANXIASHU 90154 TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE PARKED THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT A LUG NUT ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE WAS MISSING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE TRAILER WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN. ..UPDATED 12-30-13 *BF UPDATED 01/14/2013 *JS

THE RIGHT HAND (PASSENGER SIDE) FENDER OF A HARBOR FREIGHT HEAVY DUTY FOLDING UTILITY TRAILER DETACHED FROM THE TRAILER WHILE IN THE COURSE OF OPERATION. THE FENDER MADE CONTACT WITH THE TRAILER TIRE FOR A SHORT TIME CAUSING MINOR TIRE DAMAGE BEFORE COMING TO REST ON THE PAVEMENT. THE TRAILER HAD BEEN IN OPERATION FOR APPROXIMATELY 1400 MILES BEFORE THE FENDER DETACHED. THE FOUR FIXING BOLTS WERE SECURED WITH NYLON LOCK NUTS AS PROVIDED WITH THE KIT WITH NO SIGNS OF BEING LOOSE PRIOR TO THE DETACHMENT.THE REMAINING FENDER WAS REMOVED AND I…
