In November 2023 I purchased this vehicle. The dealership was made aware of the ripples within a few days of driving the vehicle. The windshield was defective and had to be replaced. The staff at the dealership did see the ripples on the windshield and agreed to replace the windshield. On December 14, 2023, the dealership replaced the original windshield even though they had the windshield since November 22, 2023. The contact owns a 2024 Cadillac CT4. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the low oil pressure warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the rear main seal of the engine was replaced. The contact stated that after the replacement of the rear main seal, while driving at an undisclosed speed, there were abnormally loud sounds coming from the front end of the vehicle, near the engine compartment. Manual transmission: Shift from 1st to 2nd can be difficult at times and can only experience partial engagement of 2nd gear causing grinding and/or popping out of gear when releasing the clutch pedal along with loss of thrust.

I was driving slowly into my driveway to prepare for turning into my garage. The car rapidly accelerated on it’s own causing me to crash into the garage door next to the one I intended to park in. I have video from my security system.

The contact owns a 2024 Cadillac CT4. The contact stated that while attempting to park the vehicle, there was an abnormal engine oil burning odor around the exterior of the vehicle. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed with a camshaft carrier reseal leak. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 85,305.

I took my car to Fields Cadillac Jacksonville for routine oil change and to rotate/balance tires. I was inform via video message that I had an oil leak coming from the camshaft carrier reseal and requires immediate attention.
