THE SCARIEST THING AND I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED A SEAT BELT LOCKING TO THE POINT OF A CHILD NEARLY FAINTING BECAUSE IT WAS CHOCKING HIM AROUND THE BELLY AREA. THE MORE I TRIED TO GIVE IT LEVERAGE TO RELEASE THE LOCK THE MORE IT ROLLED IN AND WOULDN'T UNLOCK. THERE ARE NO EMERGENCY RELEASE BUTTONS. THE LANE DEPARTURE WARNING DOES NOT DOES NOT ACTIVATE UNTIL THE VEHICLE IS 12" OR SO INTO THE ON-COMING TRAFFIC LANE. THIS DELAY COULD BE TO LATE TO WARN THE DRIVER OF AN IMPENDING COLLISION. THIS HAPPENS ONLY WHEN THE LEFT SIDE (DRIVER'S SIDE) CROSSES INTO THE OTHER LANE. THE PASSENGER SIDE WORKS PERFECTLY. THIS HAPPENS ON ALL STREETS, HIGHWAYS, EXPRESS WAYS AT 35MPH OR HIGHER. GM HAS NO WAY TO RE-CALIBRATE THE SYSTEM SENSITIVITY.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 BUICK ENCLAVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL ODOR OF FUMES EMITTING INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE WHEN THE VENT CONTROLS HAD BEEN USED FROM A/C TO HEAT. THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT UPON THE WEATHER CHANGE WHEN THE HEAT WAS ACTIVATED, THE ODOR WAS GETTING PROGRESSIVELY WORSE. BOUGHT VEHICLE SEPTEMBER 7, 2015. VEHICLE FROM VERY START HAD VIBRATION, WIND TUNNEL SOUND, AND SHIMMY IN STEERING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. DRIVE VEHICLE FOR LONG PERIOD OF TIME YOU GET A HEADACHE. MY CAR HAS STALLED SEVERAL TIMES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WHILE DRIVING. IT SEEMS TO BE SIMILAR TO THE ISSUE THAT IS IN THE RECALL OF THE 2014 MODEL, BUT THERE ARE NO RECALLS FOR THE 2015. SINCE THERE ARE NO RECALLS, THE DEALER IS NOT LOOKING FOR THIS ISSUE ON MY CAR.

15V044000 · Tires

Reported: 2015-01-28 (January 28, 2015)

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Buick Enclave vehicles manufactured December 9, 2014, to January 14, 2015, 2015 Chevrolet Traverse vehicles manufactured December 9, 2014, to January 20, 2015, and 2015 GMC Acadia vehicles manufactured December 9, 2014, to January 16, 2015, and all equipped with Goodyear P255/65R18 Fortera HL tires. These vehicles are equipped with tires that may experience tread cracking. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims and Motor Home/Recreation Vehicle Trailer Load Carrying Capacity Information for Motor Vehicles with a GVWR of 4,536 kilograms (10,000 pounds) or Less."

Consequence: If the tire treads crack, a loss of tire pressure and possible tire failure may result, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the tires that were manufactured within a specific date range, free of charge. The rec all began on March 9, 2015. Owners may contact GM customer service at 1-800-521-7300 (Buick), 1-800-222-1020 (Chevrolet), or 1-800-462-8782 (GMC). GM's number for this recall is 15025/15067. Note: This recall is for Goodyear P255/65R18 Fortera HL tires installed as original equipment. For tires that were purchased as replacement equipment, see recall 15T-002.

21V246000 · Air Bags:Critical Fasteners

Reported: 2021-04-08 (April 8, 2021)

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2010-2015, 2017 Buick Enclave, 2010-2019 Chevrolet Traverse, and 2011-2016 GMC Acadia vehicles. The side curtain air bags may not be properly attached.

Consequence: Unsecured side curtain air bags may not perform as intended, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, if necessary, realign or replace the weld nuts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 24, 2021. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N202321200.

21V782000 · Air Bags:Frontal:Driver Side:Inflator Module | Air Bags:Frontal

Reported: 2021-10-07 (October 7, 2021)

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2008-2017 Buick Enclave and 2013-2017 Chevrolet Traverse vehicles. The driver's air bag inflator may explode during deployment, due to a manufacturing defect.

Consequence: An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the driver's air bag module, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters were mailed on November 3, 2021. Owner notification letters were mailed on January 10, 2022. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300 or Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015 Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia vehicles. The driver's air bag inflator may explode during deployment, due to a manufacturing defect.

Consequence: An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the drivers air bag module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 23, 2023. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300; Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N222366190.

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2014-2017 Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, and GMC Acadia vehicles. The driver's air bag inflator may explode during deployment, due to a manufacturing defect.

Consequence: An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the driver's air bag module, free of charge. GM began mailing final owner letters February 23, 2024 and will continue mailing through December 2025. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N232404980.
