THE EXPLANATION I RECEIVED FROM BUICK ON MY FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR LEAK RECALL PROBLEM I HAD WITH MY BUICK LESABRE. THEY HAVE REFUSED TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEM OF THE CAR BACK FIRING, NOR AN EXPLANATION OF A COINCIDENTAL GASKET LEAK WHICH ALLOWED COOLANT IN THE FUEL, NOR THE REASON FOR THE REST OF THE REPAIRS MADE TO MY CAR, SUCH AS REPLACING FUEL INJECTORS. BRITAX'S SHOULDER PAD KIT USED IN THE SAFETY RECALL FOR MODEL 161 CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM IS FLAWED. THE FIX IS NOT COMFORTABLE FOR CHILDREN AND MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO PUT CHILDREN IN THE SAFETY SEAT INCREASING PROBABILITY THAT IT WILL NOT BE USED CORRECTLY. THE BEAUTY OF THE BRITAX 161 WAS THAT IT WAS COMFORTABLE FOR CHILDREN AND EASY TO SEAT CHILDREN AND PROPERLY AND SAFELY ADJUST. THE RECAL FIX CHANGES THE BASIC DESIGN. WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30MPH A HIGH PITCH WHINNING COULD BE HEARD. THE NOISE WOULD ONLY HAPPEN WHILE UNDER 40MPH. NOISE SOUNDS LIKE A POLICE OR EMERGENCY VEHICLE. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP & MECHANIC REPLACED THE GENERATOR. THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. *AK
