Owner report 11598560 · 2024-07-03 (July 3, 2024)

RV batteries (Go Power brand) went into standby mode. The following morning, after the RV was plugged into shore power (50-amp) all night, batteries did not charge leading to complete loss of brakes while tv was hooked to truck. Brinkley RV failed to identify issue or issue safety bulletin/recall to owners. Incident occurred in May 2024 in Indiana. Brinkley serviced the RV following the incident and could not provide an explanation or solution. RV was almost unstable in a safe time/distance due to loaded weight of 20,000 lbs at time of rv brake…

Reported: 2023-09-29 (September 29, 2023)

Brinkley RV is recalling certain 2024 Brinkley RV Model G fifth wheel toy haulers. The power control system was manufactured with undersized 10-gauge wire instead of 6-gauge wire.

Consequence: An undersized wire may overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the power control system, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 16, 2023. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is PCI-2023-01.

24V786000 · Equipment:Electrical:Accessory Generator:Solar Panel | Electrical System:Wiring

Reported: 2024-10-21 (October 21, 2024)

Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Model G fifth wheel trailers. The solar panels may have been incorrectly wired, which can overload the circuits and cause the wiring to overheat.

Consequence: Overheated wires increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will rewire the solar power system, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 29, 2024. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is REC-2404.

25V042000 · Equipment:Electrical:Accessory Generator:Solar Panel

Reported: 2025-01-30 (January 30, 2025)

Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Model G fifth wheel trailers. The solar charge controller may fail and overheat.

Consequence: An overheated controller increases the risk of fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the controller, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 7, 2025. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is REC-2501.

25V286000 · Structure:Body:Step/Ladder

Reported: 2025-05-01 (May 1, 2025)

Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Model G and Model Z fifth wheel travel trailers, equipped with a removable step assembly. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.

Consequence: Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the clip-on bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 21, 2025. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley's number for this recall is REC-2502.
