The warning labels that are posted on the front of the sun visors are a visual distraction that diminish the forward sight line of the driver. When I cover the warning label with my hand the depth of field and forward sight line is greatly improved. I removed this label from previous vehicles that I owned. However, the sticker on this vehicle is part of the visor and can not be removed. I have never read this warning label, nor has anyone in my family. The contact owns a 2024 Audi Q4 Sportback E-Tron. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V125000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was contacted; however, the contact was informed that the repair was not yet available. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. I purchased a new 2024 Audi Q4 e-tron. The first malfunction occurred in January 2025 when a dashboard warning appeared stating the vehicle was “unable to read traffic or road signs.” The dealer confirmed a front-camera sensor failure and replaced the camera under Repair Order #193312 (1/17/25 – 1/29/25) at approximately 397 miles. In February 2025, the vehicle displayed repeated “drive system malfunction” warnings and would not start reliably. While driving in the left lane on a particularly bumpy section of Interstate 5 South in Seattle (just before the NE 50th Street overpass), I had to quickly hit my brakes as traffic abruptly slowed. The Audie "Pre-sense" sytem did trigger, but emergency autonomous braking did not. My car did not slow down as I hit the brake, and I had to swerve onto the shoulder and put it in "B" mode to trigger full regenerative braking to stop the car. 25V125000 · Electrical System:Propulsion System:Dc/Dc Converter | Electrical System:12v/24v/48v Battery
Reported: 2025-02-28 (February 28, 2025)
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2024-2025 AUDI Q4 E-Tron SUV, AUDI Q4 E-Tron Sportback, and 2024 ID.4 vehicles. The on-board charger (OCDC) may fail and stop charging the 12-volt battery, which can result in a loss of drive power.
Consequence: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the OCDC, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 20, 2025. Owners may contact Volkswagen customer service at 1-800-893-5298 or Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Volkswagen's number for this recall is 93CJ. Audi's number for this recall is 93FR.
