DT: WHILE TOWING A FIFTH WHEEL, AND AFTER LESS THAN 10,000 MILES ON FOUR OF THE 80 PSI FIRESTONE TIRES ALL COMPLETELY SEPARATED FROM THEIR TREAD. THREE OF THE TIRES STAYED INFLATED AFTER THE SEPARATION, BUT THE FOURTH BLEW OUT AT THE TIME OF SEPARATION. ON THE FIRST INSTANCE THE DEALER SAID THE TIRES WERE DEFECTIVE, AND ADVISED CONSUMER TO CHECK ALL THE TIRES WITH THAT VIN. *AK TIRE MERCHANT REFUSED TO GIVE ANY ASSISTANCE. *TT

RIGHT REAR TIRE EXPERIENCED TREAD SEPARATION WHILE TRAVELING AT 55 MPH. THREE DAYS LATER, LEFT REAR EXPERIENCED SAME PROBLEM. FIRESTONE NOTIFIED. 1ST REPLACEMNET WAS DONE AT CONSUMER'S COS/ 2ND. REPLACEMENT WAS DONE AT NO COST. $1200 WERE RECEIVED ON BOTH INCIDENTS. *AK THERE WAS DAMAGE OF $1200 TO THE TRAILER DUE TO THE FIRESTONE TIRE INCIDENT. *YH
