2024 Acura INTEGRA: complaints, problems and recalls

The rear camera view that shows lines to assist in parking and taking the car out of the parking is so much misaligned that resulted my car hitting my garage when taking it out . Acura needs to address this to prevent the damages it can cause to the adjacent cars and properties

When driving 65+ MPH on the highway the vehicle begins to glide. Left or right. It is hard to bring back into center. I noticed it when I get the car two months ago but it is getting worse to the point I’m uncomfortable driving it. I have noticed I am not the only one with this complaint. I also do have an appointment with my local Acura dealership to get this assessed.

Steering wheel is sticky at highway speed causing overcorrection to maintain the car in the lane. Especially concerning in rain.

Steering is notchy/sticky when turning. Has slight grab then it releases. Very subtle but forums say it is a potential recall.

Steering wheel is jerking/sticking and making it necessary to have to make steering adjustment and making the car swerve while driving. This seems to be a common occurrence on comparable Honda Civic models as well. This vehicle only has 2,800 miles on it.

At highway speeds and for most speeds after driving at highway speeds, the steering will “stick”. The steering sticks in the center and slightly to the left when making slight left turns and take more than minimal effort to return the steering to center. Additionally, any small correction that need to be made while driving are made to be more difficult because of the sticky steering. Around town and on more aggressive turns, the steering is more normal. Issue has been consistent for several months. Appointment scheduled with dealer for 10/26/20…

La columna de dirección se queda como bloqueada y para realizar pequeñas correcciones cuando vas en la autopista debes aplicar un poco más de fuerza y esto hace que el carro se sienta inestable para conducir ya que debes sobre corregir para mantener el carro en el carril. At higher speeds (i.e. 45+ mph) steering wheel feels 'sticky' when driving in a straight line. When driving like this and when I need to adjust the direction a little, the wheel feels stuck in the existing position (i.e. it resists movement) and only after pulling harder on it will it move - and when it moves it moves too much, so car looks like it is weaving around when simply trying to go in a straight line. After moving the steering wheel it loosens up and is OK, but then after going straight again for a few seconds, it gets sticky again. …

Reported: 2024-10-03 (October 3, 2024)

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Acura Integra, Civic Type R, CR-V Hybrid, CR-V, HR-V, 2022-2025 Civic, Civic Hatchback, 2024-2025 Acura Integra Type S, 2025 CR-V Fuel Cell EV, Civic Hybrid, and Civic Hatchback Hybrid vehicles. The steering gearbox assembly may have been manufactured incorrectly, which can cause excessive internal friction and lead to difficulty steering the vehicle.

Consequence: Difficulty steering can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the worm gear spring and redistribute or add grease as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 18, 2024. Owners may contact Honda Customer Service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are SJS, MJU, QJT and VJV.

Reported: 2024-11-14 (November 14, 2024)

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Honda Accord, Accord Hybrid, Civic Sedan, Civic Hatchback, Pilot, and 2024 HR-V, Acura Integra and Acura Integra Type S vehicles. The driver's seat cushion frame may not have been tightened properly, which can result in an unsecured seat. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, "Seating Systems."

Consequence: An unsecured driver's seat may not adequately restrain the driver during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the driver's seat cushion frame, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 6, 2025. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138.

Reported: 2026-01-29 (January 29, 2026)

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023 Honda Accord, Accord Hybrid, and 2024 HR-V, Pilot, and Acura Integra vehicles. The driver's seat cushion frame may not have been tightened properly, which can result in a loose seat. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, "Seating Systems."

Consequence: A loose driver's seat may not adequately restrain the driver during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the driver's seat cushion frame, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 10, 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are ONC, KND, BNE and ZNF. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning February 5, 2026. This recall expands previous NHTSA recall number 24V859.
