I WAS DRIVING ON A SMOOTH PAVED ROAD, ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR STARTED DRIFTING UNCONTROLLABLY LIKE I WAS ON ICE, AND WAS MAKING A SCRAPING AND GRINDING/RATTLING SOUND. I STOPPED AND LOOKED AT THE REAR OF THE CAR AND THE REAR END WAS SLIGHTLY ANGLED. WHEN I LOOKED UNDER THE CAR THERE WAS WHAT I CAME TO LEARN IS A UPPER CONTROL ARM HANGING. A FRIEND OF MINE WHO IS A MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT THE BUSHINGS AND BALL JOINT WENT BAD, BUT THE BALL JOINT WAS STILL ATTACHED BUY BARELY.
