While travelling on an interstate freeway, towing our 40 foot 5th wheel RV at 63 mph, our trailer lost its front drivers' side wheel & tire. Upon realizing something was wrong and stopping to investigate, I recognized the wheel spindle had separated from the axle at the welding point, which allowed the wheel, bearings, disc brake assembly and tire to separate from the axle. The contact owns a 2022 Vanleigh Beacon RV Trader. The contact stated while his friend was driving his RV trader at 30 mph while trying to brake, he felt a delay in the brake pedal. The trader was taken to the dealer on a separate occasion. The dealer diagnosed that the brakes needed to be flushed. The manufacturer flushed the brakes but the failure continued. The RV trader was not repaired. The Rv trader was towed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage 400,000.
