TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 UM MATRIX 2 150 (NA) SCOOTER. THE SCOOTER HAS A DEFECTIVE FRONT DISK SYSTEM, WHICH WAS ADVERTISED AS AN ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM. WHILE DRIVING 40-45 MPH ON WET PAVEMENT, THE SCOOTER SLIPPED OUT FROM UNDERNEATH THE CONTACT WHEN THE FRONT BRAKES WERE ACTIVATED. WHEN THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO STOP, THE SCOOTER JERKED TO ONE SIDE, MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO SAFELY STOP. HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND HAD THE FRONT DISC ANTILOCK BRAKING SYSTEM REMOVED. I ASKED RYAN ABOUT THESE PROBLEMS. I LOOKED AT THE BBB REPORT. RYAN SAID THESE PROBLEMS ARE NOT WITH THE 2008 ROADKING SCOOTER, SO I PURCHASED THE SCOOTER. I DID TALK TO THE PEOPLE TO TRY TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM, THE SAID THE PARTS WERE COMING AND THEY NEVER DID. THE PERSONS AT ALL NEW SPORTS HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED A LOT. THEY QUIT RESPONDING TO MY EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS AFTER THE BATTERY EXPLODED ON MY LEG. THEY WERE NOTIFIED ABOUT THIS. THE WARRANTY AT PURCHASED DATE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR TWO YEARS.
