I HAVE A TRIUMPH TIGER 800XC MOTORCYCLE, AND THE BIKE HAS A STALLING PROBLEM. THE FIRST TIME I NOTICED IT WAS ON THE WAY TO THE DEALER FOR THE 500 MILES SERVICE, AS I PULLED UP TO A STOP LIGHT I PULLED IN THE CLUTCH AND THE MOTOR DIED. IT STALLED 2 MORE TIMES IN THE 1/4 MILE TO THE DEALER, EVERYTIME I PULLED IN THE CLUTCH IT DIED. I ALSO NOTICED THE BIKE IDLING STRANGE. THEY SAID THEY FIXED IT BUT IT STILL DOES IT. IT ALSO STALLS WHEN YOU ARE JUST TAKING OFF, AS YOU START TO RELEASE THE CLUTCH IT JUST DIES, THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN FOR ME , IF …

MY MOTORCYCLE HAS A SERIOUS DESIGN FLAW THAT IS APPARENT ON MY MACHINE, AS WELL AS ALL OTHERS I PERSONALLY KNOW WITH THE SAME VEHICLE, INCLUDING 2011+ 800 AND 800XC. WHEN OPERATED IN AREAS WHERE DUST AND DIRT ARE PRESENT, SUCH AS DIRT ROADS, THE IDLE CONTROL WILL FAIL AND RENDER THE MOTORCYCLE UNABLE TO IDLE. THIS MEANS IT IS UNABLE TO START, STALLS WHEN SHIFTING AND UNABLE TO STOP WITHOUT IT STALLING.
