1999 TRIUMPH SPRINT ST MOTORCYCLE. PLASTIC FUEL LINE CONNECTOR BETWEEN FUEL PUMP AND TANK LEAKED SPRAYING SEVERAL QUARTS OF FUEL ON THE HOT ENGINE AND THE RIDER IN A MATTER OF MINUTES. THE FUEL LINE CONNECTOR THAT LEAKED WAS FEMALE HALF OF THE CONNECTOR THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY RECALLED BY THE MANUFACTURER. THE MALE PORTION OF THE CONNECTOR WAS REPLACED UNDER A PREVIOUS RECALL BUT NOT THE FEMALE HALF. THE LEAK OCCURS WHEN FIRST STARTING THE ENGINE (COLD ENGINE) BUT CAUGHT FIRE WHILE CONTINUING TO LEAK WHILE THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING. CURRENTLY TRY…
