Owner report 11101969 · 2018-06-15 (June 15, 2018)

I AM HAVING A RECURRENT PROBLEM WITH MY 2018 SEQUOIA IN THAT I AM CONSISTENTLY GETTING WARNING LIGHTS AND ALARMS GOING OFF FOR 'BRAKE WARNING,' REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT, 'BLIND SPOT MONITOR MALFUNCTION' AND 'FRONT CAMERA MALFUNCTION.' IT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP 5 TIMES AND THEY KEEP SAYING THERE ARE COMPUTER GLICHES AND KEEPNUPDATING THE SOFTWARE OVER AND OVER AGAIN. TOYOTA SENT DOWN A TECH FROM DENVER TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT AND INSTEAD OF REPAIRING THE PROBLEM, THEY HAVE DISARMED ALL OF MY ALARMS BECAUSE WHAT THEY SAID WAS THAT THEY WERE SET TOO SE…

EVERY TIME THE VEHICLE IS STARTED AND UPON INITIALLY MOVING FORWARD THE FIRST 50 FEET, A LOUD CLUNK IS HEARD AND IT CAN ALSO BE FELT IN THE FOOT PEDALS AND THE STEERING WHEEL. THIS ISSUE HAPPENS EVERY TIME THE CAR IS STARTED AND THE VEHICLE MOVES FORWARD THE FIRST 50 FEET OR SO. IT DOES NOT OCCUR ANY OTHER TIME DURING THE DRIVE. I FEELS AS IF IT'S A FRONT SUSPENSION ISSUE.

Owner report 11729875 · 2026-04-08 (April 8, 2026)

I own a 2018 Toyota Sequoia experiencing fuel pump failure symptoms including extended crank and loss of power. This issue matches NHTSA Recall 20V012000, which affects similar vehicles with the same fuel pump defect. However, my VIN is not included in the recall despite identical symptoms and safety risk. I am requesting investigation into whether additional VINs, including mine, should be included in this recall due to ongoing failures.
