I HAVE A 1994 TOYOTA LANDCRUISER THAT WAS PURCHASED IN MAY 1996. OVER THE PAST 12 YEARS THIS VEHICLE SOMETIMES ACCELERATES WHILE I AM DRIVING. I IMMEDIATELY PRESS THE BRAKES AND THE TRUCK WILL IDLE BACK DOWN. I HAVE TAKEN THE TRUCK TO SIERRA TOYOTA WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED, BUT THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. THIS PROVES THE ACCELERATION PROBLEM HAS BEEN OCCURRING LONG BEFORE 2006 AND NOT JUST CARS. THE DEALERSHIP CAN NEVER PIN POINT THE PROBLEM BECAUSE THERE ARE NO LINGERING MARKS FOR CLUES. CONSUMER CALLED COMPLAINING ABOUT HAVING PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT SLOW SPEED THE POWER STEERING WILL PULL THE VEHICLE TO THE RIGHT SIDE. DUE TO A FAULTY SEALS AT STEERING PUMP. DEALER HAS INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE OR CORRECT THE PROBLEM. TS
