The contact owns a 2017 Toyota IM. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50 MPH or faster, the engine started choking and the vehicle hesitated and started losing automotive power. While the vehicle was idling at a stoplight, the RPM fluctuated between 700 and 500, and the vehicle vibrated as if it was about to stall. There were no warning lights illuminated. MY CAR IS IM COROLLA 2017. WHEN I WAS DRIVING 2 DAYS AGO THE AIR BAG WARNING APPEARED IN THE DASHBOARD. I BROUGHT THE CAR TO THE NEAREST TOYOTA TO BE CHECKED. I WAS INFORMED THAT THE SPIRAL CABLE THAT CONNECTS TO THE DRIVER'S AIRBAG MODULE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. I TOLD THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE THAT MY CAR IS ONLY MORE THAN 3 YEARS OLD WITH 32,000 MILEAGE. MY CONCERN IS MY SAFETY DRIVING A CAR WHEN THE SPIRAL CABLE ATTACHED TO THE DRIVER'S AIRBAG IS DAMAGED WHICH COULD DEACTIVATES THE AIRBAG AND CAUSED THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT TO COME ON. HE M…
