I WAS PARKING MY CAR IN MY GARAGE AND MOVED FROM THE BRAKE TO THE GAS TO MOVE UP A SMALL AMOUNT. I BARELY TOUCHED THE GAS AND THE CAR SURGED FORWARD HITTING A SHELVING UNIT IN MY GARAGE. IT WAS A VERY SCARY EVENT. THE CAR AND SHELVING UNIT WERE DAMAGED. THANKFULLY, NO INDIVIDUALS WERE INJURED.

The contact owns a 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid. The contact stated while driving 20 MPH and approaching a stop sign, the brake pedal was depressed, but the vehicle failed to respond. The contact stated that she continuously depressed the brake pedal down to the floorboard, and the vehicle responded. Additionally, the contact stated that the failure recurred while driving. I WAS IN AN ACCIDENT YESTERDAY MORNING. I WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 20-25 MPH AND HIT A PARKED CAR ON THE PASSENGER FRONT. THE FRONT BUMPER AND FENDER ON PASSENGER SIDE WERE SEVERELY DAMAGED AND THE CAR WAS UNDRIVEABLE. WHAT IS CONCERNING IS THAT THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY NOR DID THE SETBELT LOCK. I SUSTAINED INJURIES TO MY LEFT KNEE HITTING THE CONSOLE, MY LEFT SIDE OF FACE INCLUDING JAW HIT THE TOP OF STEERING WHEEL AND MY FOREHEAD HIT THE WINDSHIELD AND BROKE IT. I AM CONCERNED THAT THE CAR HAS A SAFETY ISSUES.
