Owner report 10058293 ยท 2004-02-16 (February 16, 2004)

SIDE WALL BLOW OUT ON MICHELIN XRV 23580R 22.5. OVER THE LAST 12 MONTHS I HAVE SUFFERED 2 SIDEWALL BLOW OUTS ON MY 2000 ALLEGRO BUS RV. TRAVEL SPEED IS ALWAYS LESS THAN 65 MPH AND INFLATION MAINTAINED AT 100 PSIG. ONE TIRE FAILURE ON DRIVER SIDE STEERING NEARLY CAUSED ME TO LOOSE CONTROL AND HIT THE DITCH. SECOND FAILURE OCCURED ON PASSENGER SIDE INSIDE DUAL , WHICH I DISCOVERD DURING A NORMAL REST BREAK, FORTUNATELY BEFORE THE SECOND TIRE FAILED. I HAVE SINCE REPLACED ALL REMAINING TIRES SINCE I FEARED FOR ADDITIONAL SAFETY INCIDENTS. *AK
