The aux alternator installed to charge the house battery is failing, making noise and almost starting the motorhome on fire. A quick search found EVERYONE with the Thor motorhomes with this alternator is having the same issues and Thor will do nothing about it. Many have installed multiple new alternators, and because the wiring gauge isn't big enough (also installed by Thor) the issues come up again, and again. Many people have been left stranded, many have had to put a fire out due to this defect. I contacted Thor and they are well aware of t…
