TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 THOR SERRANO 31X. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS SHUT OFF AND THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE RESTARTED ITSELF WITHIN THREE SECONDS. IN ADDITION, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS FAILED AGAIN WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS. KINGS CAMPERS OF WAUSAU, WISCONSIN WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES AND CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER (THOR) FOR ASSISTANCE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 THOR SERRANO. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, THE TRANSFER SWITCH LOCATED UNDER THE BED COMPARTMENT FAILED AND AN ODOR OF SMOKE WAS DETECTED. THE CONTACT'S HUSBAND SMELLED ELECTRICAL WIRES BURNING INSIDE THE TRANSFER SWITCH COMPARTMENT. THE MOTOR HOME WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE TRANSFER SWITCH. THE DEALER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
