Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Indigo and Luminate motorhomes. The heat shield that protects the propane tank from engine exhaust may be too short, which can cause the propane tank to become overheated.

Consequence: A propane tank that becomes overheated increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will install an overlapping heat shield, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 29, 2024. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-500-1020. TMC's number for this recall is RC000306.

25V653000 · Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer:Lpg Systems:Tank Assembly

Reported: 2025-09-30 (September 30, 2025) · Model years: 2024, 2025

Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Luminate and Indigo recreational vehicles. The LP tank support tube may be too short and have an insufficient weld that may fracture, allowing the tank to detach.

Consequence: A detached tank can create a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will install support brackets on both sides of the LP tank support tubes, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 30, 2025. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000331.
