Owner report 11587365 · 2024-05-07 (May 7, 2024)

MoThe air suspension is stuck saying it cannot adjust. The car states that there is an electrical issue. As an electric car electrical issues seems to be a concerning error message to receive. The service center has stated a part was replaced two times but the error message remains. The error is in reference to exhausting from the valve block. This removes the ability to utilize any of the adjustments and potential water wade mode. The service center said a redesign is in the works, but no such redesign is in the works.

Owner report 11588346 · 2024-05-12 (May 12, 2024)

I purchased 2024 Tesla cybertruck and got the delivery of the truck on May 11th 2024. One the very first day I experienced a critical warning that stated " Critical Steering issue detected" and it started beeping loudly and I was unable to steer it. Now I am unable to drive the car as I have a whole lust of critical alerts that pop up on the screen. I am concerned about my safety and others on the road. One of the warning says "loss of system redundancy detected. Unable to shift out of park because vehicle has detected loss of redundancy. The…

Owner report 11629683 · 2024-12-09 (December 9, 2024)

On Saturday, [XXX], vehicle was at a T-intersection, in normal drive mode (not FSD) waiting for traffic to pass to enter roadway from side road. Vehicle suddenly started to go backwards. Had to press on the brake to stop. Rebooted the car and the error happened again. Tried to reverse from the intersection to be able to stop the vehicle in a safe location, but steering (drive by wire) was not working. Had to drive with one foot on the brake and one on the electronic throttle to go backwards, even though vehicle was in drive model. Display read …

On taking the exit on the freeway, the accelerator and the brakes were unresponsive and the vehicle took control and no longer responded to the driver's actions. While driving vehicle a prompt flashed on the screen saying “power reduced, steering performance reduced due to overheating”. Then the next screen said “critical steering issue detected pull over”. Then I got a loss of system redundancy detected. This has happened twice in one week and I’ve towed it to Tesla twice.

Owner report 11682516 · 2025-08-22 (August 22, 2025)

Subject: Tesla Cybertruck Recall – Out-of-Pocket Wrap Costs I own a Tesla Cybertruck (VIN: [XXX] ) affected by the recall on Cant Rail Assemblies. Tesla requires the replacement and welding of new assemblies. My truck is custom wrapped by Rogue Films, a Tesla-recommended supplier. Rogue Films quoted $850 to re-wrap the affected areas after the recall repair. Tesla is only offering $300, leaving me to cover the remaining $550. This cost is a direct result of Tesla’s recall, not elective customization. In addition, Tesla does not provide a loa…

Owner report 11740924 · 2026-05-29 (May 29, 2026)

Beginning approximately December 2025, my vehicle produces a severe grinding sound when attempting to accelerate. The sound has been consistent and ongoing for approximately 6 months. Confirmed verbatim on recorded Tesla corporate support call May 21, 2026: "If I try to accelerate it's making this horrible grinding sound. This has been going on since December." Component: Drivetrain / power unit (unknown , Tesla has never inspected). Safety risk: Grinding on acceleration indicates mechanical failure in the drivetrain that could result in sudd…

Owner report 11746326 · 2026-06-24 (June 24, 2026)

PCS system has failed. This causes the vehicle to be unable to charge and can lead to loss of power if unable to get to a supercharger before the battery is depleted. It can now only be charged at full Tesla superchargers and not at other brands, hotel chargers, or home AC chargers. The vehicle did notify me of the PCS failure and recommended using a supercharger. Tesla proactively updated my account to allow for free supercharging, but this does not eliminate the risk when going to areas that do not have superchargers available. Parts are not …
