Reported: 2020-04-29 (April 29, 2020) · Model years: 2019, 2020

Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2019-2020 TL80 and TL80/112 aerial devices. The installed slope indicator and decals incorrectly state that the chassis can be 5 degrees out of level for aerial device use.

Consequence: If the aerial device is used with the chassis out of level it may result in an unstable condition which may cause the unit to tip, increasing the risk of injury to the operator and any bystanders.

Remedy: Terex will notify owners, and dealers will replace the incorrect slope indicator and decals, free of charge. The recall began May 12, 2020. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-605-882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is SN685.
