Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2016-2021 OM, Optima-HRX, and TCX aerial devices with dual platforms. The upper control stations' emergency stop controls may not stop all boom functions, resulting in unintended boom movement.
Consequence: Unintended boom movement increases the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will install engine stop/start controls at both control stations, as necessary, and install placards, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 13, 2022. Owners may contact Terex's customer service at 1-605-882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is SN708.
