TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SUZUKI VZ800. WHILE APPROACHING A 90 DEGREE TURN THE CONTACT APPLIED THE FRONT AND REAR BRAKES AND THE BRAKES FAILED. THE CONTACT WAS FORCED TO DOWN SHIFT AND APPLY THE REAR BRAKE TO STOP THE VEHICLE. WHILE DOING SO THE BRAKE CALIPER BECAME DETACHED. THE VEHICLE HAD A 102 POINT INSPECTION PERFORMED ON MARCH 13, 2007, AND THE FAILURE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 310.*AK

TL* - THE CONTACTS OWNS A 2007 SUZUKI BOULEVARD M50. WHILE OPERATING THE MOTORCYCLE WITH A PASSENGER ON THE BACK THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO MAKE A 90 DEGREE TURN AND A BOLT THAT HELD THE BRAKE CALIPER FELL OFF. THE TRAVEL SPEED WAS 48 MPH. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE ROAD CONDITIONS WERE DRY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 310. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO REPLACE THE BOLT. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO DEALER. HOWEVER, NOTHING WAS DONE. DT: THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 SUZUKI MARAUDER 800. THERE WAS A GLITCH IN THE TRANSMISSION THAT CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. SUZUKI STATED THAT THIS WAS NORMAL FOR THAT MODEL. IT WAS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION. THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE ENTIRE CLUTCH WITH LESS THAN 700 MILES ON THE MOTORCYCLE. NO OTHER WORK WAS DONE BECAUSE THE MANUFACTURER STATES THAT THIS WAS NORMAL. *AK *JB

MOTORCYCLE STALLED WITH NO POWER OR LIGHTS WILE RIDING AT 25 MPH. DEALER NEVER MENTIONED RECALL, AND SUGGESTED TO FIX WIRE HARNESS AT IGNITION POINT. (MY COST). MOTORCYCLE STALLED 3 MILES OUT OF DEALER. HAD TO PAY AGAIN FOR LABOR. DEALER MENTION FIRST PROBLEM HAD CAUSE A DOMINO EFFECT ON THE ELECTRICAL HARNESS. NO WARRANTY AND MAY HAPPENED AGAIN. MOTORCYCLE IS STILL HAVING PROBLEMS DEALER WANTS TO REPLACE ALL THE ELECTRICAL HARNESS AT MY EXPENSE. MOTORCYCLE CAN NOT BE RIDDEN DUE TO THE POTENTIAL ACCIDENT MAY STALL WITH NO WARNING AS IT HAPPENE…
