Reported: 2021-12-22 (December 22, 2021) · Model years: 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021

Alamo Group Inc. (Alamo) is recalling certain 2012-2021 Schwarze A7 CNG, A8 CNG, and A9 CNG street sweepers mounted on Freightliner M2-112 chassis and equipped with a horizontal exhaust system. Lightweight debris, such as leaves, may build up in front of the sweeping head and accumulate against the chassis exhaust system.

Consequence: Debris against the exhaust system increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will install an exhaust tailpipe extension tube, free of charge. Owners notification letters were mailed on January 14, 2022. Owners may contact Alamo Group customer service at 1-830-379-1480.
