TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 (NA) RAM 3500. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS MAKING A RIGHT TURN AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT, THE PASSENGER SIDE TIE ROD SNAPPED OUT OF THE SOCKET. AS A RESULT, THE VEHICLE LOST STEERING ABILITY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO BOULDER CHRYSLER DODGE RAM (3200 28TH ST, BOULDER, CO 80301, [phone removed]) AND THE FAILURE WAS CONFIRMED. THE DEALER REPLACED ALL OF THE STEERING COMPONENTS FOR $1,500. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE WARRANTY WAS EXPIRED. THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED BACK TO THE DEALER. Check engine light has gone on intermittently. Have had it checked with no reason for the code. No sign that it was the engine harness. Contacted dealership and they explained they couldn't look at it for 3 weeks. Brought it to another mechanic and replaced computer. a week later it damaged that computer. I called dealership and they again advised there wad no way to have it towed in for at least 3 weeks. Only 1 diesel mechanic present. Had diagnostics run again and was diagnosed as engine wiring harness. Engine wire harness has damaged 5 compu…
