COMPONENT: Trailer parking brake and its release circuit, including a connector in the button box on the front of the trailer. The trailer is available for inspection on request. 11/22/25 I hitched the trailer to my tow vehicle (Tesla Cybertruck), raised the jack, and released the trailer parking brake from the tablet supplied with the trailer, as the manufacturer specifies. The brake released. This produces a distinct jolt felt in both vehicles and the tablet confirmed it. As soon as the vehicles began to move, the parking brake re-applied it…

COMPONENT: Rubber cover running nearly the full length of the trailer roof, protecting the solar panel wiring. The trailer carries a solar array and a 45 kWh battery system. The trailer is available for inspection on request; the cover itself was lost on the road. After towing the trailer to Lake Casitas CA on 05/22/2026, the entire roof wiring cover was missing. Given when it was found, it most likely departed while under tow at highway speed. I do not know at what point on the route it came off. I discovered it only by chance, looking down …
