VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: 8' TO 22' DUMP AND FLAT BED BODIES. THE COMBINATION CLEARANCE LAMP/SIDE MARKERS ON THE SIDE OF THE BODIES DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT."

Consequence: THESE LAMPS MAY NOT BE VISIBLE AT CERTAIN POSITIONS TO THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE, WITH THE POSSIBILITY THAT A PERSON DRIVING BEHIND THE VEHICLE MAY HAVE TROUBLE DETERMINING ITS OVERALL WIDTH.

Remedy: OWNERS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH FREE, NEW REAR CLEARANCE LAMPS FOR INSTALLATION ON THE REAR OF THE DUMP/FLAT BED BODIES.
