FRONT BRAKE PADS, AND ROTORS, ARE BEING REDONE AGAIN, AT 11700 MILES. THIS WAS DONE BEFORE AT AROUND 7000-800 MILES. I AM WORRIED, THAT THEY WILL GO OUT AGAIN, AND THAT I WILL HAVE TO REPLACE THEM AGAIN IN ANOTHER 10000 MILES, AND I WILL THEN HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM, ESPECIALLY IF THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM. REFERED TO THIS BY CHIP CHIDESTER (SCI).*AK

1. TRAVEL DOWN DIRT ROADS OVER A PERIOD OF SIX MONTHS. 2. TAIL PIPE FELL OFF (ON THIS MODEL 4X4 OFF ROAD PACKAGE THE TAIL PIPE ISN'T WELDED TO THE MUFFLER) TOTAL VEHICLE FAILURE OF ALL ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS AS THE WIRING HARNESS MELTS DUE TO EXHAUST BEING VENTED DIRECTLY ON WIRING HARNESS ALSO MELTS DUST COVER FOR SHOCK AND ABS SENSOR TO AXLE HOUSING. 3. REPLACE TAIL PIPE, SHOCK, ABS SENSOR, WIRING HARNESS AND ALL ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS. *JB

Owner report 10232586 · 2008-06-28 (June 28, 2008)

THE TAILPIPE FELL OFF OF MY TRUCK. RESULTING IN THE HOT EXHAUST TO BE VENTED ONTO A REAR WIRING HARNESS AND THUS MELTING IT. ALONG WITH THE MELTED WIRING HARNESSES, THE ECM AND MASS AIRFLOW SENSOR WERE SHORTED OUT AND NEED TO BE REPLACED. THIS WILL BE OVER $2000 TO FIX AND WILL BE PAID FOR STRAIGHT OUT OF MY POCKET. THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER EXHAUST BECAUSE IT SUPPOSEDLY IS A REGULARLY MAINTAINED PART. THIS TRUCK IS A 2WD MODEL WITH 305/50X20 WHEELS/TIRES , SO IT OBVIOUSLY IS NOT USED FOR OFF-ROAD PURPOSES NOR HAS IT BEEN USED TO TOW ANYTHING…

Owner report 10145523 · 2005-12-17 (December 17, 2005)

REAR DIFFERENTIAL WAS REPLACED DUE TO AN ETERNAL FAILURE AT 9,700 MILES. AT AROUND 12,000 MILES THE REAR END STARTED TO CLUNK WHEN SHIFTING FROM PARK TO REVERSE AND IN AND OUT OF DRIVE. I TOOK IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CLAIMED IT WAS NORMAL AND WAS JUST GEAR LINKAGE BEING LOOSENED UP. NORMAL THOUGH THEY CONFIRMED. TWO DAYS LATER I WAS IN 5 O'CLOCK HEAVY TRAFFIC AND WAS TURNING INTO A MAJOR INTERSECTION AND HAD TO APPLY HEAVY ACCELERATION. I HEARD A LOUD CLUNK AND THEN MY TRUCK SAT THERE AND REVVED UP WITH NO MOVEMENT. I HAD CARS APPROACH…

Owner report 10131880 · 2005-08-08 (August 8, 2005)

GAS TANK "SPEWS" GAS AT YOU WHEN FILLING. THE TANK HAS BEEN REPLACED AND STILL DOES THIS. THE BRAKES "JUDDER" AND CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO SHAKE. THEY HAVE BEEN REPAIRED THREE TIMES AND ARE STILL NOT CORRECT. NISSAN REFUSES TO ADMIT THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT SAFETY ISSUE. THERE ARE TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS ON THE BRAKES. *NM

Owner report 10144930 · 2005-12-11 (December 11, 2005)

I HAVE A 2004 NISSAN TITAN AND WHENEVER MY GAS TANK IS LOW AND I GO TO FILL UP AFTER A WHILE GAS WILL START TO GUSH OUT. I'VE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND LIKE ALWAYS THEY CAN'T "DUPLICATE". I KNOW OTHER NISSAN TITAN OWNERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM WHERE GAS SQUIRTS OUT. THIS IS A HEATH AND SAFTEY ISSUE. THE GAS HAS GUSHED BACK OUT AT ME SEVERAL TIMES.. AND IT HAPPENS ABOUT 30 SECONDS AFTER YOU START PUMPING GAS. *NM
