The contact owns a 2017 Nissan NV. The contact stated that while driving approximately 40 MPH around a curve, the brake pedal was depressed and the front tires seized for several seconds, causing the vehicle to slide on the road. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 NISSAN NV. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH AND MAKING A LEFT TURN, THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TOWN CENTER NISSAN (2310 BARRETT LAKES BLVD, KENNESAW, GA 30144, [phone removed]) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE GEAR BOX NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 35757982, BUT NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.
