WILL I WAS STOPPED WITH THE TRANSMISSION IN PARK, THE J-71 AUTOPARK AUTOMATIC PARKING BRAKE ON MY MOTORHOME FAILED IN THE LOCKED POSITION. THE VEHICLE IS A 1994 DOLPHIN FROM NATIONAL RV ON A GM P-30 CHASSIS. IT IS IN THE SHOP FOR REPAIRS NOW. I UNDERSTAND THERE ARE A SUBSTANTIAL NUMBER OF FAILURES REPORTED REGARDING THIS SYSTEM. *NLM

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1994 NATIONAL RV SEABREEZE. THE VEHICLE WAS EXPERIENCING A RECURRING BRAKE FAILURE IN WHICH THE PEDAL BEGAN FEELING SOFT. DUE TO THE SOFT BRAKE PEDAL HE WOULD HAVE TO APPLY EXTREME PRESSURE IN ORDER TO STOP THE VEHICLE. HE PERFORMED VARIOUS SELF REPAIRS ON THE BRAKES BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO OCCUR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 87,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

LEFT FRONT TIRE BLOWOUT ON NATIONAL RV MOTORHOME WITH A COUNTRY COACH (CCI) CHASSIS. (SEE YOUR EA05011 ODI) THE CHASSIS WAS MANUFACTURED BY CCI IN 1999 AND NATIONAL RV MANUFACTURED A COACH BODY FOR IT AND SOLD IT AS AN ISLANDER FOR SEVERAL YEARS. MINE IS LISTED AS A 2001 MODEL WHEN PURCHASED NEW FROM THE DEALER. HOWEVER, NEVER WAS THERE ANY RECALL BULLETINS. RV HAS ONLY 22,500 MILES ON AND SUNDAY, APRIL 2, 2006, WHILE GOING 55 MPH ON FREEWAY, TIRE FAILED AND BLEW OUT. DAMAGED LEFT FRONT FENDER AND WIRING IN FENDER WELL. RIGHT SIDE SHOWS …
