MOTO GUZZI HAS DECIDED TO USE A FUEL FILTER THAT IS AN IN LINE FUEL FILTER NOT SUITABLE TO BE USED INSIDE A GAS TANK SUBMERGED IN GASOLINE. I STARTED LOOKING INTO THIS ISSUE AFTER SEVERAL OWNERS OF THIS SAME MOTORCYCLE 2017/2018 MOTO GUZZI V7 III STONE HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH THEIR MOTORCYCLE NOT WORKING .. LEAVING THEM STRANDED. I CHANGED MY OWN FUEL FILTER AFTER ONLY 1100 MILES AND THE TOP PORTION HAD BALLOONED, CHANGED COLOR FROM CLEAR TO ORANGE, AND SEEMED IT COULD BE PULLED APART EASY.
