THIS TRANSMISSION PROBLEM WAS REPORTED TO THE DEALER ON 09/05/2002. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN ON TWO TEST DRIVES BY THE TECHNICIAN ALONG WITH MYSELF AND MY SPOUSE. HIS DIAGNOSIS WAS , THAT THE TRANSMISSON HAS A MEMORY AND THE ERRATIC SHIFTING AND LURCHING W AS ITS WAY OF ADAPTING TO MY DRIVING STYLE. THE OTHER DANGEROUS PROBLEM, ON THE ROAD, IS WHEN THIS TRANSMISSION LETS GO, IT THROWS OILY SUBSTANCE ALL OVER THE VEHICLES IN BACK OF YOU AND ON THE ROADWAY. PLEASE REFER TO DATA SUBMITTED ON 9/15/2002 ODI NUMBER: 767202. ALSO, PLEASE CORRECT THE FAILURE TO BE AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION NOT A MANUAL. SINCE THE ORIGINIAL COMPLAINT, I HAVE DISCOVERD THAT THERE ARE MANY MORE FAILURES THAT I HAD I NEW OF AT THAT TIME. PLEASE I ASK YOU AGAIN TO RECALL THESE VERY DANGEROUS MOTORHOMES FROM THE HIGHWAYS BEFORE SOEONE IS KILLED.
