I OWN A 2004 MONACO LAPALMA MOTOR HOME ON A WORKHORSE CHASSIS MODEL # P32122 WITH LESS THAN 17,000 MILES. THIS PAST NOV. WHILE ON A TRIP WE SMELLED BURNING AND I SOON STARTED TO LOSE MY BRAKE PEDAL AND THE BRAKES STARTED TO FREEZE UP. UNDER FULL THROTTLE, BARELY MOVING ON A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY, I WAS JUST ABLE TO GET INTO OUR CAMPGROUND. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED OUR WORKHORSE DEALER AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM. THEY SAID THAT WORKHORSE WAS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND ADVISED US TO LET THE BRAKES COOL DOWN AND THEN PROCEED WITH CAUTION, SINCE THIS PROBLE…

DRIVING ON DIVIDED HWY APPROACHING SIGNAL LIGHT.MOTORHOME LOST POWER,BRAKES,LIGHTS,DASH GAUGES,POWER STEERING.-EVERYTHING. STOPPED SHORT OF HITTING ANYTHING OR ANYONE HITTING ME. MOTOR RESTARTED WITH SOME DIFFICULTIES. DRAGGING CRV AND COULD NOT BACK-UP BUT WAS ABLE TO GET OFF HIGHWAY SAFELY TO A SIDE STREET, AND FEARFUL TO DRIVE FURTHER, CALLED ROAD SERVICE SUGGESTED BY MONACO AND MY INSURANCE ROAD SIDE CO.
