WHILE STOPPING ON WASHINGTON BLVD CONSUMER WAS STRUCK FROM THE REAR. BACK END OF VEHICLE AND BACK SEAT HIT STEERING WHEEL, AND CONSUMER SUSTAINED SERIOUS FACE AND CHEST INJURIES. ALSO, AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. CONSUMER INDICATED IF AIRBAGS WOULD HAVE DEPLOYED, THE INJURIES WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SO SEVERE. *AK
