THE BACK BRAKE LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING AGAIN. (4TH TIME) ALSO, THE CAR WILL NOT MOVE OUT OF PARK AFTER YOU START THE CAR. I KNOW THESE TWO PROBLEMS ARE RELATED TO THE BRAKE SWITCH. THIS ITEM HAS BEEN (REPLACED) TWO OTHER TIMES. I AM PUTTING THE POWERS THAT BE ON NOTICE THAT IF I AM IN A CRASH BECAUSE OF THIS SAFETY ISSUE, I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR IT. VEHICLE STARTING MAKING FRONT END NOISE, DIFFICULT TO STEER, UNSAFE HANDLING. THE SUBFRAME, ENGINE CRADLE, DETERIORATED DUE TO CORROSION IN AREA OF FRONT MOUNTING BOLT BREAKING THE BOLT COMPLETELY FREE AND NO LONGER PROVIDING STRUCTURAL SUPPORT. SIMILAR CORROSION IS OBSERVABLE ON FILLER TUBE AND VENT TUBE TO GAS TANK. VEHICLE HAS BEEN PARKED AS IT IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE BECAUSE OF ENGINE CRADLE. ESTIMATE OF REPAIR IS APPROXIMATELY $1000.00. *TR

WELL THIS IS REALLY NOT A DEFECT JUST VERY BAD DESIGN,MY 2000 MERCURY SABLE HAS NO SHIELD OF ANY KIND OVER,ON OR AROUND THE FUEL TANK THAT HANGS A FOOT OR LESS OFF OF THE HIGHWAY.I WAS DRIVING MY CAR DOWN THE ROAD AND NEVER HEARD OR SAW ANYTHING ON THE ROAD,BUT EVIDENTALLY RAN OVER SOMETHING SMALL AND IT RUPTURED THE FUEL TANK ON THE CAR AND I LOST ALL OF THE GAS WHILE I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD,NOW THAT IS A BIG HAZARD IF I WOULD HAVE RAN OVER A LIT CIGARETTE.....BOOM.
