THE THREE LEVERS LEFT OF THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLLING WIPERS (BOTH FRONT AND REAR) ADJUSTMENT OF THE STEERING WHEEL, AND CRUISE CONTROLS DO NOT ILLUMINATE IN THE DARK/EVENING. TRAVELING 60 MPH ON INTERSTATE, WHEN STEERING WHEEL JERKED TO THE RIGHT AND THEN LEFT, BRAKES AUTOMATICALLY ACTIVATED, AND SEAT BELT TIGHTENED. LASTED FOR APPROXIMATELY 3 MILES, THEN JERKING STOPPED. WITHIN ANOTHER 30 MILES HAPPENED 3 MORE TIMES. EACH TIME AN ALERT APPEARED ON DISPLAY 'BLIND SPOT ASSIST IS DEACTIVATED, NOT OPERATIONAL'. I HAVE EXPERIENCED RECURRENT BUT INTERMITTENT ISSUES WITH THE TRANSMISSION/ACCELERATION OF MY MERCEDES GLC 300 2017. TODAY, AFTER I WENT UP AND THEN DOWNHILL, THE CAR SLOWED DRAMATICALLY ON ITS OWN. WHEN I PUSHED THE GAS PEDAL TO THE FLOOR, THE CAR DID NOT RESPOND IMMEDIATELY. AFTER SEVERAL SECONDS, THE CAR STARTED TO ACCELERATE. IN THE MEANTIME, I WAS WORRIED I WOULD BE REAR-ENDED BY TRAFFIC BEHIND ME. I pressed the "Park" button, but the transmission did not go into park. When I let my foot off the break, thinking that I was in Park, the car started rolling backwards. Thank God my wife was in the car and noticed the motion and shouted to me to break the car. I was able to stop the car before hitting anybody or anything, but it was dangerously scary.

Intake and exhaust cam shaft and adjuster failure at 83,000 miles. Failure caused vehicle not to accelerate and stalled starts. Was on the highway when vehicle wouldn’t accelerate putting driver and others on road in danger. Repair on vehicle costing over $5k and MBUSA has no recourse due to vehicle being out of warranty. Per techs this issue should not happen to the engine.

REAR BRAKING SYSTEM. WHEN BACKING UP OR APPLYING PRESSURE TO THE BRAKES, THE VEHICLE IS SCREAMING A LOUD NOISE. TAKEN BY DEALERSHIP AT 7000 MILES 01/04/18 DEALERSHIP STATES THEY CAN'T FIX IT UNTIL THEY RECEIVE PARTS ,WITH THE TAKATA RECALL AND A FAULTY BRAKING SYSTEM, THIS IS A HIGHWAY SAFETY ISSUE.

BOUGHT CAR 3 DAYS AGO AND BRAKES SQUEAL UPON BACKING OUT OF GARAGE AND SOMETIMES APPLYING WHEN STOPPING! Strong gasoline smell coming from the engine bay every morning at start up. I removed protective plastic lining from the under carriage to identify the issue. I identified a lot of gasoline dripping from the top portion of the engine compartment where the High Pressure Fuel Pump is located. There was no warning or check engine lights that alerted of this issue of a gasoline leak. This is very dangerous as it could cause the vehicle to catch fire.

The contact owns a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC300. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the fuel gauge provided incorrect information and indicated that there was no fuel in the fuel tank. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent and sometimes occurred immediately after refueling. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the fuel tank needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired.
