There is a problem with the fuel pressure sensor or wiring to the fuel pump control unit. This causes the fuel bay door to malfunction, meaning sometimes it won't open and sometimes it opens on its own. Today, my local Mercedes dealer (Mercedes of Seattle) quoted $5081.00 to repair this. See attached electronic quote that I rejected and then it disappeared but I saved a screenshot of it. The car has less than 20,000 miles on it. The contact owns a 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC350. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V365000 (Electrical System, Communication) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The local dealer was contacted, and it was confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
