McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc., (McNelius) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 McNeilus Bridge Master Mixer, Standard Mixer, Sliding Trailer Mixer, Standard Rear Loader, Rear Loader w/3.5 YD HD Tail, Zero Radius Automated, Auto Reach, Atlantic Front Loader, Split Body Rear Loader, Rear Loader w/Tag Axle, Metro Pak Rear Loader, XXC Rear Loader, and Pacific Front Loader vehicles manufactured August 1, 2013, to May 14, 2015. These concrete mixers and refuse trucks are equipped with certain Kidde plastic valve disposable handheld fire extinguishers that may not properly discharge when the lever is pressed.

Consequence: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not work correctly, there is an increased risk of injury.

Remedy: McNeilus will notify owners, and advise them to follow the provided instructions from Kidde to inspect their fire extinguishers. Kidde will replace the fire extinguishers as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on October 19, 2015. Owners may contact McNeilus customer service at 1-888-686-7278. McNeilus' number for this recall is Kidde: CPSC 15-079.

25V755000 · Exterior Lighting

Reported: 2025-11-03 (November 3, 2025) · Model years: 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025

McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. (McNeilus) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Metro Pak vehicles. The side and rear reflex reflectors and rear clearance lights may be missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Consequence: Missing reflectors and rear clearance lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: McNeilus will install the side reflectors and lights, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 9, 2025. Owners may contact McNeilus Customer Service at 1-888-686-7278.
