WHEN ACCELERATING, THE GAS PEDAL GOT STUCK. APPROXIMATELY 1 MONTH AGO, IT HAPPENED. MY HUSBAND THOUGHT THAT MAYBE HE STEPPED ON THE GAS INSTEAD OF THE BRAKE SO HE DIDN'T REPORT IT. THEN YESTERDAY, WE WERE ON THE FREEWAY WITH MY CHILDREN AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN. EVEN WHEN YOU PRESS ON THE BRAKE, THE CAR KEPT ACCELERATING AND GOT STUCK TO THE FLOOR. During a diagnostic performed at the Maserati dealership to repair parking brake failure, it was determined that the right strut tower/dome has a large crack. The vehicle has not been in any major accidents or driven over any potholes and it appears that this happened spontaneously. There were no warning lights to signal this issue. During the diagnostic it was also found that all 4 tires were bald, control arms needed to be replaced and the car was out of alignment. The 2014 Maserati Ghibli with VIN number [XXX] has been experiencing significant wiring issues, which have resulted in the car shutting off unexpectedly while driving this is a danger to drivers because as the car shuts off steering the vehicle is almost impossible brakes barely work and the car just rolls until it stops manufacturer/dealer replicated the problem and fixed it for a whooping $5300 there were absolutely no warning lamps,error messages etc dealer states "engine injection wiring harness" and angolar speed sensor per dealer notes …

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2014 MASERATI GHIBLI. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN A MANUFACTURERS RECALL FOR THE GEAR SHIFT LEVER FOR WHICH THEY RECEIVED THE REPAIR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER RECEIVING THE REPAIR, THE VEHICLE WOULD DRIFT TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT WHENEVER DRIVING IN HIGHWAY SPEEDS.
