TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1997 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. THE ENGINE RESTARTED AND THE CONTACT RESUMED DRIVING. THE PCM WAS REPLACED BY AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON THREE DIFFERENT TIMES AS A RESULT TO THE CONSTANT MALFUNCTION. THE PCM WAS ALSO REPLACED TWICE BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE SIMILAR FAILURE RECURRED RECENTLY. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED FOR THE MOST RECENT MALFUNCTION. IN ADDITION, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR HINGE WAS SLIGHTLY DETACHED FROM THE DOOR FRAME AN…

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1999 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE WAS CONCERNED OF A POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARD DUE TO THE PLACEMENT OF THE FUEL TANK AND THE POSSIBILITY OF A FIRE OR EXPLOSION IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 114,000. *TR
