TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 MAGIC TILT TRAILER (NA). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AXLE STUB TORE AWAY FROM THE AXLE TUBE. THE TIRE BEGAN TO PROTRUDE FROM THE BOTTOM APPROXIMATELY 1.5 INCHES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AXLE STUB WAS SUPPOSED TO FIT PERFECTLY INSIDE OF THE TUBE. THE TUBE WAS WELDED INTO THE BRAKE FLANGE AND THE AXLE STUB WAS SPOT-WELDED THROUGH THE AXLE TUBE, WHICH LED TO THE FAILURE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY PUT SHIMS INSIDE THE TUBE, BUT THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WERE NONE. NO OTHER VEHICLE INFORMATION WAS APPLICABL…

DIAGONAL BRACING NOT ON TRAILERS TO KEEP THEM FROM OVER FLEXING IN THE MIDDLE, WITCH MAKES ALL THE CROSSMEMBERS CRACK , AND EVENTUALLY BRAKE. THIS IS A MAC WALKING FLOOR . YOUR PRE SELECTS DON'T OFFER THIS MAKE AND MODEL. *TR

While driving on the highway, traffic suddenly stopped in front of me and I had to brake harder than normal. During braking, the front winch post support on the trailer failed due to a defective weld, causing the jet ski to shift out of position. The jet ski remained attached only because of the rear safety straps I had installed. The failure also caused damage to the bottom hull paint/gel coat. After inspection, the weld appears to have had poor penetration and improper preparation between the metal pieces, indicating a manufacturing defect. T…
