Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024 MMDe electric trucks. The battery management system software may cause the high-voltage battery to shut down, which can result in a sudden loss of steering control and drive power.
Consequence: A sudden loss of steering control and drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will update the battery management system software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 10, 2024. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0464.

Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024 MD vehicles. An incorrectly assembled high voltage connector could prevent the mechanical connector lock from properly engaging, allowing the high voltage cable to loosen.
Consequence: A loose high voltage cable can cause a sudden loss of steering and drive power, increasing the risk of crash.
Remedy: Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will inspect and repair the mechanical connector lock as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 10, 2024. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0467.

Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Mack MD vehicles. When the Controller Area Network (CAN) communications are interrupted, the throttle signal from the electro mobility control unit may retain the last known throttle setting, and the engine will not return to idle as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 124, "Accelerator Control Systems."
Consequence: An engine that does not return to idle quickly enough can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the control unit software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 14, 2025. Owners may contact Mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0481.

Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Mack MD, 2019-2025 Anthem, Granite, 2024 MD Electric, and 2025 Pinnacle trucks equipped with a passenger bench seat. The seat belt anchorage bracket may be improperly welded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
Consequence: An improperly welded seat belt anchorage bracket can detach during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will install a reinforcement plate, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed January 21, 2026. Owners may contact Mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0485. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 13, 2025.
